Davina Smith

Accountant & Bookkeeper

Davina was born in New Jersey and lived her high school years in Newport News. She attended Hampton University for three years before entering the workforce. She has worked in administrative roles for over 30 years in various capacities and industries, including the non-profit sector, until finding her niche with Accounting in the last six years.

Davina and her husband have been married for 10 years, and they have three beautiful daughters. Together, they enjoy watching movies, bike riding, dining out, traveling, and fellowshipping with their church family.

What’s the best part about working at the Chamber?
“I get to serve the community, share information, and have fun while doing it!”

What was your first job?
“I worked as a cashier in a gift shop in Germany at Busch Gardens. I remember I wore my dress backwards for my first day of work. Who knew?!”

I love Williamsburg because…
“…of its rich history, the beautiful William & Mary campus, and all the parks and bike trails. I am country by heart.”
