Ambassadors Committee

Serves as the communication link between the Chamber staff and membership, thus improving retention.

ASPIRE Young Professionals Committee

Connecting, developing, and empowering young professionals by providing them a voice in the community and opportunities for networking, personal growth, and professional development. Note: You must be between the ages of 21-39 to serve on this committee. Learn more about ASPIRE.

Chamber members network and compete in a fun-filled round of golf at one of the area’s premier courses, with a Captain’s Choice shotgun start. A variety of prizes are awarded.

Works to promote high-quality education and workforce training to help respond to the needs of area businesses for career-ready students and adults to enter the workforce. Participates in the Pathways2Careers program which connects local high school students to explore businesses, career paths, scholarships, and more.

Cultivates a proactive approach to health and well-being through advocacy and through building awareness of local, regional, and state-wide resources that contribute to improving the mental, emotional, and physical health of our community’s workforce and its families, which will strengthen member organizations.

Represents the business community at the local municipal level, monitors proposed state and national legislation, and keeps membership information on legislative issues while encouraging feedback.

Annual Gala Committee

The Annual Gala is the Chamber's most distinguished evening affair, featuring a cocktail reception, seated dinner, dancing, and entertainment. The Gala showcases a silent auction to benefit the Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce Foundation, which supports Pathways2Careers and educational programming.
